Working hours:
Full time (35 hours a week). Standard working hours between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working, with a minimum of 6 days per month in the office.


An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a small and dynamic team within the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) which is based in The Spine, Paddington Village, Liverpool.


We are looking for positive, customer and solution-focussed individuals to join our team and help us to deliver a number of online and practical post-graduate assessments on behalf of the RCP.


Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Event delivery team to take responsibility for the logistics and organisation of examination and assessment events at the Spine, in Liverpool.
  • To support the event delivery team leader with operational activity at the Spine, in Liverpool.
  • Provide administrative support for online and practical examinations
  • Support the delivery of exams at remote examination centres
  • General administration to support development and delivery of assessments
  • Provide examday support for the RCP assessment suite in The Spine including room bookings and room setup
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures, such as risk assessments and health and safety are adhered to and take responsibility of the work area.

Experience/skills

  • Skilled and confident written and verbal communicator
  • Able to safeguard confidential information and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Experience of working accurately with data
  • Experience of multitasking in an administrative setting
  • Experience of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Experience of using database
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
  • Ability to work within a team and across departments

Desirable

  • Experience in event delivery
  • Experience in an examination delivery setting
