Job Summary:
The Event Sales and Administration Specialist will play a key role in the event sales team at Elior, providing administrative support and managing events from initial enquiry to confirmation and planning. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our events business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the events sales team, including printing menus, updating weekly overviews, and liaising with the hospitality operational team.
- Answer incoming client queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Organise client events and work closely with other departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Prepare and follow up with clients on proposals, quotations, and contracts to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Conduct site visits of event spaces and maintain accurate client records and databases.
- Guide clients through the planning process and ensure all documentation is ready for handover to the event operations team.
- Work closely with the Sales team to drive new business and achieve budgets and set targets.
- Manage multiple inboxes and communicate frequently with clients to provide excellent customer service.
- Take personal responsibility to adhere to sales and event brand standards for enquiry handling, event planning, pre- and post-event.
- Recognise opportunities to maximise revenue, conversion, and drive repeat business.
Requirements:
- Excellent standard of communication skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent working in a team or alone.
- Previous experience in a similar role or administration.
