Event Coordinator

Liverpool Cathedral is a world-renowned events venue, hosting a diverse range of activities from intimate conferences to large-scale art installations. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events that exceed customer expectations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and administer the planning of corporate events, including gala dinners, concerts, and awards evenings, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Take responsibility for operational and administrative functions to fulfill event needs, working closely with the in-house team to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Be the primary point of contact for customers and customer inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Support the delivery of the cathedral's cultural events program, working collaboratively with other departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Ensure that the cathedral delivers excellent customer service and quality delivery, maintaining high standards in all aspects of event planning and execution.
  • Coordinate the cathedral diary, ensuring a complex pattern of events and bookings work harmoniously together.
  • Develop and maintain client and supplier relationships, fostering strong partnerships to deliver exceptional events.
  • Conduct site visits, client meetings, and deliver events onsite, ensuring that all events are properly planned and delivered within budget and in line with cathedral terms and conditions.
  • Ensure that events are appropriately risk assessed and documented, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all attendees.

Other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably expected and commensurate with this role and our business requirements.
