The Sustainability Adviser is a new role which means you will have the opportunity to shape and develop it alongside the needs of the business.

Working closely with the Head of Sustainability, and with all functions within the organisation, you will develop and manage multiple change initiatives, particularly in the operations and product impact space.

This role is vital in delivering the Board's commitment to supporting a sustainable future whilst enabling the growth targets for each market sector.

A skilled communicator, you will be instrumental in driving and communicating change within the organisation, whilst also understanding the external influences in this important space.


Qualifications:

To be successful you'll need:

  • Experience working in an engineering or scientific environment or for a sustainability business.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (i.e. working directly or indirectly in a sustainabilityfocused role.)
  • A degree in engineering or another scientific discipline is beneficial but not essential.
  • Be able to undertake challenging tasks with mínimal supervision.
  • Prior experience developing and running projects with positive environmental benefits would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of sustainability processes and standards would be advantageous but is not essential (e.g. carbon footprinting methodologies, certification standards).
  • Experience in implementing change programs.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Salary:
£30,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Working hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
