Sales Director

Our client, a prominent provider of IT managed services, is on the lookout for a Sales and Marketing Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will be in charge of crafting and executing strategies to boost business growth and revenue while enhancing the brand's visibility. This position calls for a strategic individual with a solid background in sales and marketing within the IT managed services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that align with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Create business development plans to expand market share and meet revenue targets.
Sales Leadership:
- Supervise the sales team, set performance targets, and offer continuous training and support.
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a robust pipeline.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Marketing Leadership:
- Direct marketing campaigns and analyze market trends and competitive landscape for strategy development.
Collaboration and Innovation:
- Collaborate with product and service teams to align sales and marketing with customer needs.
- Cultivate innovation and promote new ideas to achieve business goals.
Performance Measurement:
- Track and assess sales and marketing metrics to enhance effectiveness.
- Present regular reports on sales performance and marketing ROI to the executive team.
Experience:
- Solid experience in the Channel working with SME's and selling IT Services.
- Ability to grow existing accounts and secure new ones.
- Proficiency in managing sales teams and understanding forward-looking KPIs.
- Experience with Private equity owners is a plus.
- Proximity to the workplace is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.
