Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of IT managed services, offering innovative and comprehensive technology solutions to businesses across various industries. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive business growth, enhance brand presence, and maximises revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and marketing within the IT managed services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Lead the creation of business development plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.

Sales Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the sales team, setting performance goals and providing ongoing training and support.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Marketing Leadership:

  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Work closely with the product and service teams to align sales and marketing efforts with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas and approaches to achieve business objectives.

Performance Measurement:

  • Monitor and analyse sales and marketing metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, marketing ROI, and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Director or similar leadership role within the IT managed services industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and digital marketing platforms.
