AVIXA (Audiovisual & Integrated Experience Association) is seeking a dynamic Manager of Business Development for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development, this role will be instrumental in expanding our digital products and services in this key region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to forge relationships, a keen understanding of business development best practices, and a passion for the AV industry.

As a global industry organisation, hub of the industry and catalyst of growth, our members and subscribers provide key revenue opportunities to pro AV manufactures and industry adjacent manufacturers, particularly in the IT space.

The Manager of Business Development, EMEA is the role that will be dedicated to expanding future business in this area.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development the primary goal of this role is to grow AVIXA's revenue by increasing the number of large brands that it sells products and services to and increase the number of budget-holder points of entry into those brands, specific to the EMEA region.

Experience of the AV industry is essential.

Identify new company prospects and multiple key contacts within the EMEA region, creating relationships for new revenue opportunities.

Networking and attending both internal and external conferences, meetings, and industry events to build relationships with potential customers and partners.

Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, including market intelligence, our international, marketing, expo, member services, and learning teams to develop ideas and products relevant to our key markets in EMEA.

Establish and track KPIs via regular reports, business planning, budgeting and forecasting in order to provide actionable insights for the EMEA region.

Proficient in analytics tools such as Salesforce and Pardot, and best practices for business development and sales practices.

Be one step ahead of trends and news impacting the industry and its adjacencies
Proven experience in a business development and/or advertising sales
Experience and a passion for integrating data into engagement decisions and on-going strategies
Proficiency in English. Fluency or good conversational French, Spanish, German, an advantage.
Reliability, efficiency, and a desire to flex your creative muscles on a daily basis and challenge the status quo in the name of our audiences
Proficiency in CRM, project management platforms, email platforms, MS and/or Mac OS.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Experience Level:
Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales and/or marketing

Technical Skills:
CRM, project management platforms, email platforms, MS and/or Mac OS
Fluency in English language and grammatical best practices, advertising sales or sponsorship sales. Advantage for fluency or good conversational in French, German, Spanish.
