Would you like to join a high performing team building out a virtual fundraising event portfolio? Do you have the skills and experience to provide sector-leading stewardship on a mass scale? If so, this could be the role for you.

About the role


In this role, you will work in close collaboration with our other Challenge Event Officer and Challenge Event Manager to recruit and steward supporters taking part in our virtual and DIY fundraising events.


You will be responsible for planning and delivering an engaging multi-channel stewardship journey to boost engagement and optimise fundraising, with a focus on case studies and supporter stories, to build a strong sense of community.


You will also support with delivering the marketing campaign and producing inspiring, high quality creative assets for paid and organic social media, as well as engaging internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities for promotion.

You'll be rewarded by joining a fun and high-performing team at one of the UK's most loved charity brands. You will also be rewarded knowing your work is making a real difference to people living with cancer.


This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you'll be out and about cheering on our participants at our third party and owned events.

A full UK driver's license and a willingness to drive a van is desirable.


You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu and we commit to developing you throughout your career at Macmillan.

Experience of working on virtual fundraising events is desirable but not essential.
