About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Event Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer outcomes and experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our events, including the development of a value proposition and annual business plan, as well as the project management of live event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of our events, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including identifying new revenue streams and opportunities for expansion.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of event professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their expectations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Financial Management: Manage event budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is available to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in event management, preferably in the gaming industry, with a strong track record of delivering successful events.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
