Event Director Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Event Director to lead the planning and execution of multiple large-scale projects for our clients in the luxury creative industries.

The ideal candidate will have 7 years+ of experience in event management, ideally within large-scale, multi-day events for high-profile clients. A proven track record in leading end-to-end event production, from initial concept and creative design through to execution and post-event reporting is a must.

The Event Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, including creative leadership, team management, and venue management. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop detailed critical paths and timelines.

We are looking for a capable, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual with a background in creative, experiential, or event agencies. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional events and a proven track record in leading high-profile events, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of event planning and execution for multiple high-profile events
  • Creative leadership: engage in the creative aspects of each event, ensuring that the vision is reflected in every detail
  • Develop critical paths: create and manage detailed timelines and critical paths for each event
  • Team leadership: lead a cross-functional team of event professionals, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and adherence to project timelines and goals
  • Venue management: identify and secure appropriate venues, manage on-site logistics, and ensure the smooth operation of event set-up, execution, and break-down
