Organon are recruiting for the position of CAPEX Delivery Lead to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.


The site is at an exciting point in its history, with the site embarking on a programme of strategic capital investment as part of its site masterplan.


In this role, you will manage and develop a team of project practitioners to deliver a portfolio of major capital projects, ensuring delivery according to key performance indicators, including cost, schedule, safety, and compliance.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the delivery of major capital projects across a large Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility.
  • Capital projects related to the technologies used in the production of oral soliddose products, including but not limited to bulk processing, blister packing lines, and facility construction projects.
  • Work with site HSE and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and develop OEM partners to support the delivery of the portfolio.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to develop project execution plans that are fully scoped with clear success criteria, meet the business requirement, are accurately costed and are supported by realistic schedules and resource plans to allow capital funding.
  • Delivery of approved projects with a strong focus on project controls
  • Contribute to the development of Engineering processes and systems within the Cramlington engineering Department.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree level engineering qualification or similar relevant experience.
  • Experience of team management, including developing an organisation to meet individual and business goals.
  • Has successfully led & delivered multiple projects within a GMP environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector, would consider other FMCG environments.
  • Can demonstrate managing projects from feasibility through to startup.
  • Experience managing a project portfolio with multiple projects running at any one time.
  • Experience managing projects using a rigorous project methodology.
  • Competent financial management skills to create and manage capital spending.
