We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative, on a full time, permanent basis.

The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our site in Cramlington for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing business.

The role is to ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.


Duties:

  • To take delivery of goods and supplies
  • To check for damaged or missing items
  • To store goods appropriately
  • To pick and pack orders for dispatch
  • To move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck
  • To load goods for dispatch
  • To ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
  • To input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system
  • To carry out stock counts as and when required and ensure accurate stock records
  • To ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
  • To handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
  • To work in a safe manner; driving positive behaviour and leading by example with regard to the company's health, safety and environmental policies
  • To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected

The person:


They will be a team player, have good communication skills, organised, self-motivated with a good eye for detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working hours are 37.5 per week, on a weekly rotation of 6am to 2pm then 2pm to 10pm.
