Our Procurement Managed Service team is hiring, we are looking for you to join us as a Renewals Sales Specialist.

Whether you are at the start of your career or you are looking to make a change we want to hear from you.

This new team will sit within our Customer & Sales Order Management Team in Hatfield.

Our Renewals Sales Specialists are responsible for the proactive management of a customer software renewals calendar to ensure renewals are carried out in a timely and efficient way.

You will be using both Computacenter and the customers tooling to retrieve contracts and information, carry out demand validation with the customer stakeholders, log and follow up tasks and approvals and raise any issues or escalations whilst updating trackers with progress at every step.

You will need to attend calls with the customer and internal service providers to manage, update and track end to end activities for the renewals and raise any issues that may arise.


The role will suit someone who has a background or ability to managing multiple activities at once, works well within a team, communicates efficiently with the team and customer stakeholders at all levels.

Skills within the Microsoft office suite such as Excel are preferred, experience in using Ariba would be useful but not essential.

What you'll do

  • Be the main point for customers and internal Computacenter departments for customer relevant topics
  • Manage customer renewals calendar and processes aligned to software renewals
  • Be accountable for the management of customer renewals calendar and works closely with the Reseller team (Spend Optimisation Specialists, Software Specialists, Account Manager and Service Manager)
  • Work closely with customer stakeholders to validate demand, any changes to demand and documentation within customer systems and ensuring tracker is maintained
  • Coordinate the validation, quote and order process with customer and all relevant service providers
  • Ensure delivery to customer SLAs by updating tracker, monitoring the reporting, service reviews
  • Coordinate the resolution of customer/account queries promptly
  • Identify and participate in process optimisation projects
