The Opportunity:

  • The purpose of the role is to support resource capacity planning and Sales and Operations Planning [S&OP] to give the business full visibility of current and future workload. This requires collating and moderating a multiplicity of views from across the business, and simplifying and rationalising a complex range of data to support business decisions.

What you will do:

  • Collation and analysis of resource data from across the company, identifying and fixing errors, understanding and reconciling the different data sources.
  • Preparation and publication of regular resource data to the organisation.
  • Identifying any potential resource constraints before and providing credible data to enable priority decisions to be made within the company.
  • Support the creating of rough cut planning of potential programmes, developing credible resource profiles. Maintaining these plans as the bid data is refined.
  • Support the creating of "What if?" scenarios through the combination of contracted data and different combinations of order intake assumptions.
  • Using these scenarios to evaluate and communicate the potential impact of these scenarios on the company.
  • Help develop and refine the capacity planning process to meet changing business needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Analytical problem solver with good numerical skills
  • Skilled in Excel and ideally Power BI
  • Knowledge of the wider needs of the business
  • SAP and SAPBI knowledge an advantage
