We are currently recruiting for a Careers Advisor on a full time, permanent, office based role in Wrexham.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide oneonone career counselling to learners
  • Support with the enrolment and eligibility on course/programme
  • Provide learners with Information advice and guidance throughout their course from start to finish, ensuring they are on track to achieving and obtaining theire qualifications
  • Run workshops and group sessions on career planning and development
  • Liaise with employers and educational institutions to help learners find jobs and courses
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of the job market
  • Develop and implement career development programs
  • Track learner progress and outcomes as well as completing classroom risk assessments

Qualifications:

  • Desire experience working within the FE sector, working with Training providers, Colleges or Schools
  • A passion in supporting and motivating learners to achieve end goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
