We are seeking a meticulous Customs Process Administrator to oversee the smooth processing of SCDP Supplementary Declarations for our customers consistently. This role is vital for upholding compliance with HMRC regulations and ensuring customs authorization integrity. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, a solid grasp of customs processes, and the ability to work autonomously or within a team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Accurately input Entry Headers, Charges, and Invoice details to meet HMRC compliance.
  • Verify shipments against customer-provided information.
  • Handle various Customs procedures like Homeuse, IP, and Bonded Warehousing.
  • Collect and upload documentation to customer SharePoint accurately.
  • Establish solid relationships with team members and customer operational contacts.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of Customs Processes and Procedures.
  • Enter shipment details to generate Supplementary Declarations and troubleshoot any CDS errors.
  • Conduct Month-End checks for the Final Supplementary Declaration.
  • Combine and upload documents to customer SharePoint while maintaining precise logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Decent level of numeracy and literacy.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in ASM Sequoia software, CHIEF, CDS (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Data entry skills - Advanced Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a dedication to precision.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A customer-centric approach with a focus on exceptional service.
  • Proactive and confident in achieving personal objectives.
