Fleet Administrator

We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our Felixstowe Transport Team in the Fleet and Compliance department. This role will be based out of our Felixstowe Depot, providing administration support to a busy Transport team, responsible for our fleet of HGV vehicles in Felixstowe and London.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Ensure preventative maintenance is booked and completed in line with our legal obligations and that documentation is processed so that records are updated swiftly and accurately.
- Check and process supplier invoices swiftly & efficiently, raising PO Numbers if necessary.
- Report Accidents and Incidents at the earliest opportunity, as required by the business, and liaise with the Insurance and/or Security depots over claims.
- Liaise with other depots, providing assistance when required, and ensuring that consistency is maintained across the national fleet.
- Maintain & develop relationships with agencies to cover all driver holidays & sickness, and work closely with the planning dept to ensure all vehicles are manned.
- Be proactive in helping with general office queries/administration.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Strong admin skills and a good knowledge of excel
- Experience in a transport / compliance role
- Proactive and forward thinking
- Experience of learning new software systems
- Ability to address and resolve problems in a calm and efficient manner
- Good communicator (written & verbal) with people at all levels
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
