**The Role**

Hutchison Ports (UK) - Port of Felixstowe is the largest deep-water Port in the UK and to support our continued growth and development we are looking to recruit an Temporary HR Advisor to support our Human Resources Team as maternity cover.

Working within the HR Service Centre (HRSC) the purpose of this role will be to provide comprehensive advice and support across the full range of HR activities. This role will entail working closely with the HR Leadership Team, and Senior Managers across the Port, supporting in the delivery of key business change projects and objectives to enhance employee experience.

**Key Requirements**
- Review processes and technology systems, ensuring all processes and templates are legally complaint, investigate errors whilst making recommendations for improvement.
- Identifying and recommending solutions and improvements for continuous improvement in the onboarding and induction process whilst providing data to other HR Advisors for reporting purposes and engaging relevant stakeholders.
- Deliver Total compensation opportunities including, Discounts & Savings, Reward & Recognition, Salary Sacrifice schemes and Cycle to Work.
- Ownership of the arranging, administration and processing of Long Service Awards and ceremony, ensuring seamless communication and organisation with employees, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Enhance the induction and onboarding programmes by developing training, holding manager briefings, create and implement supporting material, templates and mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities to enhance employee experience in line with employee transactions, working alongside colleagues in the HR Service Centre to update and embed new processes and procedures.
- Manage, review and report on Compliance Training, whilst supporting the delivery of the compliance window across HPUK.
- Use marketing techniques to support our employer brand, highlighting new and existing rewards, associations, and accreditations to both internal and external platforms.

**Who are we looking for?**

Suitable applicants should meet the following criteria:
Essential:

- Minimum of four GCSE’s (grade C and above) or equivalent in English Language and Maths.
- Previous experience working to an excellent standard in an HR or similar business administration team.
- Proven ability to work effectively with numbers, data, detail, and processes.
- Confident with working in a high volume, complex environment
- Solution focused with dynamic approach to delivering multiple work streams.
- Ability to prioritise work quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment with regular interruptions and changes in workload.

Desirable:

- Previous experience with employment law, employment contracts and the main employee lifecycle processes (e.g. recruitment, transfers, leavers etc).

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: Up to £39,206.00 per year
