Special Feeds Unit Assistant

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles.
We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern is 5 over 7 including weekends and public holidays (30 hours).(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a hard working and flexible person to join our team, working in the Special Feeds Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
The special feeds unit prepares and delivers specialised feeds and nutritional supplements to infants and children within the Royal Hospital for Children and the Neonatal units at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Princess Royal Maternity unit, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Royal Alexandra Hospital sites.
Previous experience in healthcare systems and familiarity with NHSGGC ordering systems such as PECOS would be beneficial. However, all training will be provided on the systems and equipment used within the unit.
