Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales & Events Manager at Sixes Social Cricket in with locations in London and across the UK. The Sales & Events Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities, including customer acquisition and retention, as well as planning and executing social events at the venue. They will collaborate with the marketing team to promote the Sixes Social Cricket experience and maximize revenue. The Sales & Events Manager will also build and maintain relationships with customers and partners, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Role overview

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all aspects of the business, including corporate, social and bespoke events.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted lead generation and prospecting efforts. Utilise various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and digital marketing, to expand our client base.
  • Hosting key stakeholders to drive business: building rapport with booking agents & third parties through hosting FAM trips and conducting venue visits, to drive referral bookings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events, including corporate functions, team-building activities, and social gatherings. Ensure seamless event delivery from inception to completion, exceeding client expectations at every touchpoint.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs, analysing key metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, providing insights into sales trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Collaborate on promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and operational enhancements to drive revenue growth and enhance the customer experience.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in sales and event management. Take initiative in seeking out training opportunities and professional development resources to enhance skills and knowledge.

Salary £35,000 PA + uncapped commission
