As Service Delivery and Transition and Manager, you will assist the Head of Service and Infrastructure in the Governance, Delivery, Service Transition and support of all IT services to support Group operations across all business areas.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for managing the transition of new and modified services from Project into BAU ensuring acceptance by all key stakeholders and for the readiness of the Operations Teams to support the implemented / modified service
- Identify gaps and risks to the service, business and technology areas.
- Work with business leaders, development and support teams, 3rd parties, incident management teams.
- Ownership of the Service Transition Process ensuring continual improvement.
- Manage services, agreeing maintenance & change windows, acting as an escalation point.
- Support and champion the Change Management Process advising on service impacts, scheduling and ensuring adherence to process.
- Experience of Incident, Major Incident, Problem and Change Processes to a recognised Framework (ITIL / COBIT)
- Experience of Business Continuity
- Experience of Compliance (GDPR, PCI, SOX)
- Proven ability to produce high quality deliverables in terms of content and presentation
- Change Management / experience and the facilitation of CAB
- Strong Stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to manage conflicting priorities, multitask and meet deadlines (ITIL methodologies useful)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving ability
- Actively seeking to develop your career
