The EO PR & Communications team is responsible for creating and managing earned media, influencers, projects to enhance the brand's reputation and presence across the European region.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Influencer team within the PR and Communications team in the European Marketing Office. You will play a part in shaping and building the team's direction, so this role will require a strong leadership, project management experience, stakeholder management and communication skills to influence team members from across the world, and 16 European subsidiaries.
You will have the opportunity work on several key project each year supporting the team across Mobile Experience (MX), smartphones, wearables, tablets. Digital Appliances (DA), ovens, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and Visual Display (VD) – TVs and Monitors.
Our influencer programs are multi-market across Europe and beyond. They focus on creating desire and excitement for our incredible products with brilliant and creative influencers. For Samsung influencers can be content creators, key opinion leaders (e.g. in health, artificial intelligence, fashion), athletes, work with an incredibly broad set of people.
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
Support A to Z of the European influencer squad (Team Galaxy) – strategy, planning, liaison with subs, budget and agency management, contracts, briefing, content management and approvals, commercials and return on investment analysis, reporting and dashboarding. Work across PR, Comms, Brand and Social teams to utilise Influencers and content creators on a paid and earned basis Help build the framework for influencer KPI setting, dashboaring and reporting to improve Return on investment and performance. Manage pan-EU influencer events for key calendar moments. This includes planning the programme, liaising with subs, writing the agency and influencer brief, crafting creative and desirable product experience, managing content delivery and approvals. Work with different team members in HQ, Europe office and subs to align strategy and activation plans. Coordinate the calls with subs and divisions in HQ Propose new insights to make Samsung outstanding for influencer activations Support the social media, brand and PR teams with strategic and creative influencer activation for key projects in Europe by liaising with project lead and subs. This includes devising social strategy, content plan, content and toolkit creation, laison with subs, posting status monitoring and performance reporting.What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Proven experience in managing influencers. Strong campaign management experience is crucial with influencer activity planning and execution experience a must (consider this both on and offline activity (such as events)). Excellent knowledge of all social/influencer platforms and how to optimise content for different platforms. You should have an interest in technology, how it can benefit people and society Strong hands-on experience on influencer contracting, briefing, content creation and reporting. Understand how paid and earned influencer campaigns can co-exist Great balance between creative and analytical skills Have a deep understanding of what makes an influencer campaign stand out, engaging and drive performance. Result oriented and ability to interpret data to influence creatives. Strong problem solving and diplomatic skills to work with many team members, both internal and external A positive and can-do attitude. Experience working across multi markets is helpful. Ability to perform under ambiguity and complexity in a face-paced environment. You must be driven, determined and resiliant. Passion for working collaboratively in a global environment.
