Digital Horizon is looking for an Institutional Sales Director responsible for advancing the company's engagement with the investors' community.


Your main responsibility in this position will be to carry out the DH's business development strategy within the US/European markets.

A crucial aspect of your role will be to attract institutional investors to the fund.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the DH's business development strategy in the US/European markets.
  • Identifying and reaching out to potential investors with the focus on institutional investors.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with attracted investors, including providing regular updates on the fund's performance and investment pipeline.
  • Negotiating terms with potential investors, including deal structure, fees, and other terms.
  • Collaborating with the investment and legal team to ensure that the organisation and processes are built out to support institutional fundraising, with due diligence, fundraising documentation, onboarding etc are prepared and executed correctly.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and developments to identify new investment opportunities and provide insights to the investment team.
  • Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
  • Implementing business development tools and processes to manage existing investors and target potential investors in the company, including managing, maintaining, and updating the CRM.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in business development or fundraising within the investment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the investment field, including familiarity with various financial instruments, markets, and investment strategies.
  • A proven track record of success in attracting institutional investors and securing investments for funds or comparable financial products.
  • Excellent networking skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with institutional investors.
  • Strong negotiation skills to structure deals and negotiate favorable terms with institutional investors.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve fundraising goals.
