Job Title: Accounts Administrator/Book Keeper

Company: S&P Consulting Services Ltd

Job Purpose: Handling financial records, tax returns, and financial statements for review by the Hospital Manager, Finance Director, and company's accountant.

Main Duties:

  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Recording financial transactions
  • Completing tax forms
  • Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Paying regular bills for the company
  • Invoicing patients, insurance companies, consultants, etc.
  • Preparing purchase orders
  • Monitoring debt levels
  • Recording cash receipts
  • Reconciliation of payments and invoices
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Preparing information for auditors
  • Providing administrative and clerical support
  • Additional bookkeeping duties as assigned
  • Offering exceptional customer service
  • Contributing to team goals
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with Microsoft software packages
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to use initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

  • GCSE in English and Maths Grade A-C or equivalent
  • Accredited AAT qualification or equivalent
