The Team supports young people up to 18 years of age in theWest Cheshire, Central Cheshire and East Cheshire areas.

This is an exciting opportunity as we develop our 0-18 Mental Health Access Services in the Community.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Clinical team, you will lead on/contribute to reviewing referrals to Cheshire Children and Young People's Mental Health Hub (CYPMHH) triaging referrals for children and young people, offering advice on appropriate support and signposting. You will contribute to "consultations" helping support professionals working with families and young people, offering advice, guidance and signposting. You will form part of the "Access" function with a focus on prevention and as early access to intervention as possible.

This role will entail high demand, but you will be joining a highly motivated team and supportive leadership structure. Remote work will be necessary for a portion of your scheduled hours.

You must have computer skills as all systems are electronic .

Flexible / Hybrid working encouraged (face to face work & Virtual work).

Qualifications

Essential

Core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional) Professional Registration with recognised National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England) Nationally recognised post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional).

Desirable

Therapeutic Training to intermediate / diploma level

Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

Working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches CBT, Family Therapy Knowledge of Child Protection workings and Practice Working knowledge of Children related legislation Experience of inter-agency working Experience of writing, implementing and evaluating Care / Treatment Plans

Desirable

Experience of working with Students/ Learners Experience of providing clinical supervision
