Hours: 15 to 30 hours per week.

Working patterns may include 9-5pm, 10-6pm or 12-8pm (a minimum of one 8pm finished is required).

Salary:
£26,988 per annum (pro rata)

Term:
Permanent

Holiday: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata)
Additional 1 day per annum after 5 years' service

Location:
Flexible working with bases at Visyon Crewe, with regular travel across Cheshire.


Visyon is a charity that supports the emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families across Cheshire East, through the provision of a range of services, including one-to-one counselling, group work, mentoring, and family wellbeing support.


The post holder will work as part of the Visyon Wellbeing, Families and Communities team, providing a range of time-bound, outcome-focused wellbeing interventions to children, young people and their parents on a one to one or group basis.

The role will also include some training to other professionals working with children. Sessions take place in Visyon bases, schools, other community settings and online delivery.

Visyon places a high value on governance and accountability. We work with often complex clients, meaning risk management and safeguarding are essential parts of our work.


Working with Visyon requires flexibility, strong communication, organisational skills and working effectively with children and young people, and others who support them.

The ability to support and manage client risk and know when referrals should be made onto other agencies is essential within this role.
