Activity Mentor

CF Education are looking for enthusiastic activity mentors to accompany individual children and young people to activities as part of their education provision.

This is a 12 month fixed term role which will be paid at £12.75 an hour plus mileage - we need people who can commit to a minimum of 12 hours a week and who have access to a car as there will be a requirement to transport the student.

You should be a child focussed practitioner with experience of supporting children and young people, a car driver and someone who is passionate about children and young people having positive experiences and learning new skills.

Activities will range from forest schools to physical activities as well as practical sessions focussing on life skills - there will be no requirement to plan the sessions but there will be an expectation that you are able to encourage and motivate the child or young person to attend and participate.

CF Social Work is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and students to share this commitment.
