The Role:

Head of Operations, leading a team of passionate operations managers, to deliver operational excellence and contract delivery. The Head of Operations is a pivotal role at the heart of a business, with overall responsibility for the provision of Medical Reporting services, Rehabilitation services and Supply Chain function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating and managing the Operational and Supply Chain function, including the overall provision of service, quality, efficiencies standards and cost parameters, ensuring a competitive edge in all four key areas
  • Setting strategic objectives and tracking progress towards achieving those objectives
  • Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices
  • Ongoing review and development of policy standards and procedures
  • Crafting the long-term vision for employee engagement strategies
  • Motivating and advancing the team members and overseeing their training and development
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of their industry including challenges and opportunities in the sector

Personal Specification:

  • Proven track record of successfully running large hybrid working operational teams
  • Experience of procurement and management of supply chains
  • Experience of strategic planning and implementation contributing to business growth and profit driving
  • Leads by example in areas of leadership and integrity, steadiness under pressure, commitment, decision making, coaching and mentoring, time management, adaptability and flexibility and corporate responsibility and ethics
  • Ability to forge strong working relationships at all levels to board level

Package

  • Salary up to £75,000 per annum depending on experience
  • 37.5 Hours Mon-Fri
  • Hybrid working, after successful completion of the probation period
  • 5% Pension scheme
  • 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
