We are an independent family run estate agent with a modern approach to selling property, who have established ourselves as the number one selling agent in the area due to having an impeccable personalised service combined with our professional expertise and passion for property.


Due to experiencing substantial growth over the last year both in the size of the business and our employee head count, we are now looking to recruit Senior HR Advisor to support the Company Director.


This is an exciting opportunity for an applicant who has experience of working in HR or office management, whilst also having the business acumen to work assist the Company Director with Company related tasks as and when they arise.


Main responsibilities

  • Looking after the recruitment process from start to finish.
  • Processing and on boarding new starters, preparing offer letters, welcome packs, and checking employment references.
  • Improving employee related policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Organising staff events.
  • Proposing and implementing employee rewards and benefits.
  • Advising and assisting managers with procedures for handling absence, disciplinary matters, illness and personal matters.
  • Monitoring and updating Company policies in line with current legislation and best practise.
  • Ensuring all colleagues receive the necessary training and support both at the start and during their employment.
  • Acting as a point of escalation for clients as part of the complaint's procedure and responding accordingly.
  • Working closely with the Company Director of the business to implement new procedures, policies, and strategies.
  • Maintaining colleague electronic file and database.
  • Monitoring staffing and absence levels on a regular basis to ensure they are operating at an appropriate level.
  • Supporting the administration team at Head Office and assist with any administrative needs or cover as and when required.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Estate agency experience is desirable but not an essential.
  • Knowledge in HR or Office Management.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
  • Previous supervisor or leadership experience
  • Practically minded with desire to get involved and drive success.
  • Able to prioritise own workload and use own initiative.
  • PC literate with experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Previous experience of working with alongside a Company director or in administration is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong team player
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
