We're looking for two EHR workstream leads to support us in our implementation journey.

As workstream lead will work within the programme team and will lead a specific workstream including data collection, process mapping, specifications, implementations, benefits realisation and business change.


Our workstream areas include:

  • Patient administration system outpatients
  • Patient administration system inpatients


The role is critical in supporting the delivery of the Trust's digital strategy and the strategic priorities in PAHT2030, a new EHR is also critical to our readiness for our new hospital.

The role reports to the responsible EHR Programme Manager with whom they will agree their work plan and expected outcomes.


You'll be working across the organisational boundaries, influencing decisions where appropriate, negotiating areas of improvement, seeking agreement and co-operation; but always managing user expectations to ensure that they are aligned to the available resources.


The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop's Stortford, and St Margaret's Hospital in Epping.

As workstream lead, you will be responsible for the management of the workstream and workstream resources, and has the authority to run the workstream on a day-to-day basis on behalf of and within the constraints laid down by the programme board.


You will provide effective leadership, management, training and support to their team members and the Trust to ensure they are appropriately empowered to carry out the responsibilities of their role.
