Supporting People

  • Provide support to individuals with additional needs through our personcentred approach.
  • With dignity and care to maximise their independence, putting them at the centre of everything you do
  • Provide social inclusion opportunities through use of local amenities such as leisure attractions, walks, skilled activities, and support with gaining employment and recognised qualifications.
  • Support with daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, and encouraging good personal hygiene.
  • Ensure the people we support are always safeguarded, by following accurate up to date care plans

Training


We provide a wide range of
free training bespoke to the service and individuals we support, which we regularly update to reflect current sector wide policy and best practice.

Our training services are designed to offer advice and guidance in a range of areas to services that support people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health diagnoses.


Service
Century House is a grade 2 listed building that has been converted in to 15 self contained flats.

There is a staff room, communal areas and a lovely garden at the back with private patio, greenhouse and allotments.

Century House is staffed 24 hours a day with a member of staff that sleeps in. We provide inhouse activities such as breakfast club, crafts, quizzes, Sunday dinner and gardening.

We are situated close to the Boat Museum and Ellesmere Port town centre is a 10 minute walk away. Close by to Cheshire Oaks that the residents enjoy.


External activities are manged by our activities Co Ordinator and include trips out to the beach, theatre, forests, garden centres, cinema, bowling, Alton towers, Blackpool etc and are directed by the residents.


Requirements:

Ideally a driver but not essential.


Previous care experience is not essential as our fully paid induction and training programme ensures you are supported in your role.
