Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with spinal cord injuries, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Support clients with social activities, such as outings and hobbies, to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical and business leadership teams to ensure the highest standards of care and support are delivered.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with clients with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Kind and caring nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
