The role?
An opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Assistant to join the team in our Rigging & Lifting workshop in Aberdeen.
This role is to start immediately for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. The hours are 8am-4pm Mon - Fri and overtime is included at an enhanced rate (workload dependant.)Main duties and responsibilities of the role will include; recording work carried out using EnerMech reporting system documents, cleaning and shot blasting mechanical parts, painting selected mechanical parts, assisting with loading of containers and ensuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy and all company equipment is kept in good order.
You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor and assist the workshop technicians where required.You are?
To be successful for this position it is preferred you have previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of Mechanical equipment, but not essential.
As a minimum you will have previous labouring experience on a site or yard.You will be expected to set priorities for tasks in order of importance and contribute to decisions taken in the team.
