As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and the maintenance of our hydraulic equipment. Main Responsibilities: * Perform inspection and testing activities on rental fleet hydraulic equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. * Complete required documentation and report any defects or requirements to the Supervisor in a timely manner. * Carry out buffing, shot blasting, cleaning, and painting activities on rental and customer-owned equipment to ensure they are in 'as new' condition prior to dispatch. * Assist Workshop Technicians in completing operational tasks as required. * Participate in general day-to-day workshop and yard housekeeping activities. * Carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks, or duties that you can be trained, instructed, and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements. Requirements: * Basic understanding of mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment is desirable. * Effective communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and within a team. * Ability to follow instructions accurately with little to no supervision. * Familiarity with safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. * Full UK driver's license. * National 5 Pass in English & Maths (or equivalent). * B2 FLT & Overhead crane certification is desirable. * Previous experience in a similar role. Personal Qualities: * Proactive self-starter with a good working attitude, reliable, and punctual. * Strong attention to detail, works to high standards.
