What you'll be responsible for:

  • Collection of patient data from medical notes and completion of case record form (CRFs), liaising with Research Nurses and clinicians to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Assist in the organisation, preparation and participate in monitoring visits, and assist with responding to data queries in a timely manner.
  • Day to day maintenance of patient records whilst the trial is in progress
  • Produce and disseminate reports as requested using EDGE
  • Ensure clear, concise and accurate records are kept for research projects in accordance with all regulatory requirements including the data protection act

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written

  • Microsoft office skills
  • Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting and basic knowledge of the NHS (desirable)
