Project Curator Role in Egypt and Sudan:

Full-time position (41 hours per week)
Fixed term contract for 12 months

About the job:

  • Undertaking research on the Nile valley collections related to ancient Egyptian practices
  • Developing a research project on collection documentation

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading a research project on archaeological collections
  • Making collections accessible through various mediums
  • Contributing to collection redisplay and improvement
  • Supporting documentation upgrades
  • Participating in public programs and storage projects


Requirements:

BA/BSc in relevant field

Experience in research, fieldwork, and publication

Knowledge of collection management and some publications

Desirable: experience with exhibitions and public engagement

Desirable: familiarity with Nile valley archaeology
