Project Curator for Digital Assets

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Curator to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of digital repository maintenance and content upload, including grantee asset checking and ingest.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the management of digital repository maintenance and content upload, including grantee asset checking and ingest.
  2. Support successful grantees in the delivery of documentation projects through regular communication, guidance, and advice.
  3. Assist in the dissemination of project results through digital media, including website, social media, and digital exhibitions.
  4. Support the planning and organisation of EMKP events, including training and meetings.
  5. Assist in the day-to-day running of the EMKP programme.

Requirements:

  1. Education: BA/BSc (or equivalent) in digital humanities, anthropology, archaeology, or other relevant degree.
  2. Specific technical/professional skills & experience: some familiarity with digital asset management and public dissemination.
  3. Work experience: experience of working in a museum or library, digital collections.
  4. Specific interpersonal skills: open, effective communicator with good spoken and written English.
