The Position:

Sales Territory: Surrey, London South, E & W Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Middlesex, Essex

As an Area Sales Manager, you will inherit a well-established customer base comprising garden centres, gift shops, and homewares stores. Your primary mandate will involve nurturing existing relationships, expanding the network of stockists, driving product sales, and collaborating with clients to boost overall revenue.

Profile of Ideal Candidate for Area Sales Manager Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Representative with a proven track record of engaging with independent retailers, particularly within the garden centres, gift shops, homewares, or department store segments. Demonstrating strong rapport-building skills, a history of successful sales performance, and a persuasive demeanor, the ideal candidate should be adept at securing new accounts, optimizing product ranges, and implementing effective merchandising strategies.

Key Qualities We Look For:
  • Locally based, preferably in areas like Surrey, Sussex, or Kent.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in field sales, catering to independent retail outlets.
  • Dynamic, charismatic, and influential personality.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and experience with Remote Ordering Apps is advantageous.
  • Highly energetic with exceptional communication abilities.
  • Well-organized and capable of managing diverse product portfolios.
