Full Details:
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly rate: depending on experience
Working Pattern: Full Time, 36.25 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Key Tasks:
- Set up and manage accounts for new trips, events, and activities
- Post and match receipts, direct debits, bank transfers, and cheques against extras charges
- Liaise with management and Transport Co-ordinator regarding bookings and invoicing
- Generate and send invoices
- Amend invoices as required based on correspondence received
- Process direct debits
- Answer queries from internal and external stakeholders
- General:
- Assist with general office duties as required by the Finance Manager
- Undertake any other responsibilities within your skill set as delegated by the Finance Manager
Required Skills:
- Essential:
- Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Previous experience dealing with stakeholders and customers
- Experience processing Direct Debit uploads
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Strong Excel skills desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and attention to detail
- Desirable:
- Experience working in an education environment
- Experience using the PASS system
- Accountancy training or qualifications
