Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental

health conditions.
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, while respecting their dignity and privacy.
Support clients in developing independent living skills, such as meal preparation, household chores, and budgeting.
Implement individual care plans and behavior support strategies in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Monitor and record clients' progress, behaviors, and any incidents, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and external professionals to promote holistic care and support.
Respond appropriately to crisis situations and escalate concerns to senior staff members as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting individuals with complex needs

Qualifications and Experience:


NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (desirable).Previous experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.

Understanding of person-centered approaches and the principles of safeguarding vulnerable adults.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards individuals with diverse needs.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
