Branches hostel_ To work with us you will need to be resilient and able to build a rapport with people who are not always able or willing, to engage.

You will need to be able to respond quickly to changing circumstances. Could you work within our small, dedicated team?

Responsibilities_

Provide practical support services for former homeless people and rough sleepers, specific to their needs so that they can move on to independent living.

Support individuals to access services provided by other agencies. Support individuals to maintain their licence agreement while living in Branches hostel.

Experience_
Previous experience in a housing-related or homeless support role, or similar support role for vulnerable people. Experience of developing and monitoring support plans and action plans for their effectiveness.

Skills _ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to think innovatively, finding solutions to help address day-day challenges faced by service users.

About you - _An understanding of the needs and issues faced by homeless people and rough sleepers. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable interacting with the client group. You will be resilient, not put off by the challenges you will face in your day-day work. You will be a 'do-er', proactive in your ability to deal with problems.
