We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at St Mungo's, working with individuals experiencing homelessness in Hammersmith & Fulham.
Key Responsibilities- Work with clients to identify their personal goals and aspirations, and support them in achieving these through a person-centred approach.
- Provide practical and emotional support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality, safe, and inclusive service to clients.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Work a varied shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
You will be working with a caseload of clients, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed to maintain independence in the community. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A deep understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed individuals.
- Experience of working with vulnerable people, helping them to identify and achieve their personal goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients.
- A commitment to delivering a holistic, person-centred approach to support.
- A passion for working with individuals to transform their lives, and a commitment to our Recovery Ethos.
