About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team in West Beckton. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to individuals in their homes and within the community
  • Assist with personal care, including hygiene needs, as required
  • Support with shopping and budgeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of our residents
  • Contribute to household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Engage in activities with individuals, such as walks, meals, and community events
Requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including autism (full training provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, caring, and sensitivity to the needs of others
  • Computer literacy
  • Car driver desirable but not essential
