JOB TITLE:
COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING SUPPORT SERVICES LEAD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To manage the implementation of all aspects of centralized communications and marketing service delivery, including the Group's global events, sponsorship, exhibition and trade show delivery, and all functional administration.
  • Working as a core member of Petrofac's global Communications function, you will have two key areas of responsibility:
  • Global Events, Sponsorships, Exhibitions and Trade Show delivery
  • As the appointed 'channel lead' for global strategic sponsorships, events, exhibitions and trade shows, you will drive the standardization and project management of Petrofac's approach/delivery globally:
  • Working collaboratively with the Group Director of Communication, Regional Communications teams and Business Development (BD) community, you will centralize tactics, event planning, agreement/tracking of content requirements and budgets across a global program of events.
  • Across the strategic events remit, you will project manage (or provide best practice oversight) from planning, through implementation and measurement, of all required activities, ensuring events are delivered in line with established standards, costs are maximized, and lessons learned.
  • Working with Regional Communications and BD teams, you will retain central oversight of strategic Exhibition and Trade Show attendance for senior leaders.
  • You will manage daytoday relationships with appointed thirdparty exhibition contractors and other suppliers.
  • You will drive conformance with the Group's internal audit requirements in respect of trade show exhibition measurement and reporting.
  • Global communications process and administration
  • Across a team of global communications and marketing practitioners you will centralize and manage key administration and process requirements, including:
  • The ongoing development, audit and management of Group-wide communications, marketing, brand and design policies and processes
  • The creation and embedding of centralized team processes within the appropriate and accessible (teamfacing) digital environment.
  • Effective data strategies for the management of marketing databases concerning client and supply chain contact information. Interface with colleagues to ensure data is compliant with the GDPR legislation and can be shared effectively for on and offline marketing purposes.
  • The continued development of the Marketing Hub, with a focus on ensuring customer facing personnel have access to the most up to date sales and marketing materials and tools.
  • In close collaboration with BD, develop approaches to strategic client hospitality and engagement which aligns with Group G&E policies and supports business objectives through templates, toolkits and governance.
  • In line with Petrofac's sustainability strategy, develop and manage a global policy to support the purchase and distribution of corporate branded gifts, with regional tailoring.
  • Support the delivery of functional projects, events, business updates and activities as determined on an annual basis and in line with the agreed plan and parameters.
  • Oversees multimilliondollar global events, sponsorship and exhibition spend.
  • Management of BD spend in region related to conference/event attendance.
  • Provides sound judgement in relation to cost versus value, always driving quality.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Significant knowledge and understanding of the businesstobusiness marketing / events environment.
  • Appreciation for marketing strategy and how to translate this through the channel of events and exhibitions.
  • Exceptional event and trade show program management experience (or similar project management experience) with proven results in a fastpaced business environment
