Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) at Early Intervention Team



Location:
Sutton

Salary:
£30 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract Type:
Locum, 6-month contract/ongoing block booking.

Working hours:
Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible between 8am and 8pm). Part-time considered.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate care plans for individuals in early stages of psychotic illness
  • Assess health and social care needs and negotiate care plans
  • Undertake risk assessments
  • Engage with service users and carers assertively
  • Offer evidence-based interventions for symptom management
  • Provide psycho-education on first episode psychosis
  • Support vocational/educational assessment and plans
  • Deliver interventions for substance use problems
  • Develop relapse prevention and crisis planning

Requirements:
Degree in Mental Health Nursing, NMC Registration, and relevant experience
