The Role:
As a sales assistant at Blind Maggot you are responsible for delivering an excpetional experience to our customers.
Your role starts with welcoming every customer to our store and pro-actively helping them find the perfect product for them.
You will do this by discovering the customer's likes and tastes through engaging conversation.We view every interaction with a customer as an opportunity to build loyalty by showcasing our brand and our values and as a customer assistant you bring that experience to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Cash handling including end of day cashing up and reporting.
Opening and closing shop.
Day to day task prioritisation and completion.
Fulfillment of online orders.
Reporting to and supporting the manager in daily operations.
Planning and implementing marketing strategies.
Who we are looking for:
Someone engaging and friendly who enjoys customer facing roles within a retail environment.
An individual with great communication skills.
We are looking for someone who is flexible with their working hours and able to occasionally work from a remote location at events throughout the year.
Prior retail experience is preferred however not essential.
Specifications
This is a part time role;
Hours: 17 hours per week
Wednesday - Friday | 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Sunday | 11:00am - 4:00pm
Pay:
£12.00 p/h | Paid monthly
Holiday Pay: 95.2 hours per year
Perks: 20% store discount - Can be used once per month.

On occasion, our sales assistant may be required to work on a market stall for specific events. For example at tattoo conventions, festivals or local artisan markets.
