Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Assistant to join our team. As a Branch Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling and promoting our tile and associated product ranges, and maintaining a clean and organized showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell and promote our tile and associated product ranges to customers, both in-store and over the phone.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom, including restocking shelves and ensuring displays are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Process cash transactions, refunds, and till processes accurately and in accordance with branch procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on interior design trends and the role that tiles have in renovation schemes.
  • Complete customer orders over the phone and offer specific advice to customers on products and their use.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Interest in interior design trends.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
