Service Desk Co-Ordinator – £23k - £25k – Nelson, Lancashire

The Role:

Do you have the organisational skills to keep a busy service desk running smoothly? Are you adept at communicating with both customers and engineers to ensure top-notch service delivery? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

As a Service Desk Co-Ordinator at APT Controls, you'll be the linchpin in our service delivery, ensuring that every customer receives the attention and service they deserve.

The role is based FT in the office 08:15 – 16:45 Mon – Thurs and 08:15 – 15:45 Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular communication with existing customers to maintain and build relationships.
  • Handling incoming calls and performing general administrative duties.
  • Ensuring adherence to all service processes and procedures.
  • Managing orders from start to finish, including post-service follow-up.
  • Keeping customers informed about lead times and order progress.
  • Working closely with other departments to troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Coordinating site services, jobs, and visits between customers and engineers.
  • Organising travel, accommodation, and other requirements for engineers.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date paperwork for each site visit.
  • Keeping the engineer calendar updated with new bookings.
  • Arranging external services as needed.
  • Using the SAGE system to keep all details current.
  • Providing updates and forecasts to the line manager.
