About the Role
Our Front of House Team are the stars of our resort who warmly welcome our guests and are their point of contact throughout their stay with us.
By having a complete understanding of the department and of the hotel's various facilities and objectives our Concierge will offer the very highest possible service, ensuring all guests have a memorable and magical stay.
Responsibilities:
To welcome guest with a cheerful and proper greeting
Upsell to best satisfy guest's needs and maximise hotel room revenue
To ensure that all guests are escorted to their rooms
To advise guests of the hotel information and opening times of the outlets
To explain the in-room facilities and point out the nearest fire exits
Ensure that once in the guest's room, hang any garments in the closet, explain the closet amenities and place any luggage on a luggage rack.
Proceed to explaining the guest directory, TV, bathroom fixtures, lighting, fire exits, and retrieve ice if requestedGreeting guests in a friendly and professional manner during check-outs, asking if their stay was satisfactory
To deal with any questions that might arise or ask the senior staff member on duty or FOH Manager for assistance
Remove luggage from guest's room and bring it to the appropriate area, lobby, parking area, store in storage closet, or load into guest's vehicle
Park and retrieve guest's valet parker vehicle if requested.
Assist Reception Team with check-outs when required, ensuring all procedures are followed.
Perform Doorman duties as required by the business
Deliver messages from Front Desk or Concierge to guests
Deliver newspapers to guest's room upon request
Deliver amenities or packages to guest's room
Any other miscellaneous deliveries required by guests or hotel staff.
Assist with transportation when necessary
About You
You will be a polite, friendly and confident individual who prides themselves on providing excellent customer service.
Ideally, you will have previous guest service experience within a hospitality property and full driving license however, this is not essential.
Having the willingness to go the extra mile and remaining calm and reliable under pressure are essential for this role.
Salary
This is a casual opportunity working a minimum of 20 hours per week over a flexible shift pattern, between the hours of 7.30 a.m.
