Job ResponsibilitiesWe are excited to announce an opening for a Guest Services Supervisor to join our esteemed team at Fairmont St Andrews. We seek an enthusiastic individual who can adeptly manage guest needs, ensure the security of their belongings, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a constant presence in the hotel lobby, ensuring that all guests and visitors receive a warm welcome, thereby creating a lasting first impression. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the local area, including tourist attractions, business venues, and upcoming events to assist both leisure and business travelers during their stay. Oversee the activities of the hall porters, managing luggage delivery, collection, storage, and valet parking services, while fostering a friendly and efficient communication hub. Facilitate the training and development of team members. Stay informed about group and VIP arrivals. Monitor short-term business trends. Arrange bookings for tours, golf, restaurants, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Act as a travel information center by booking and confirming airline tickets, coordinating car rentals, ordering taxis, and advising on transport routes to meet guests' travel needs. Manage and supervise the parking of guests' vehicles in accordance with the hotel's parking policies. Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Concierge Manager. QualificationsPrior experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred. Supervisory experience is essential. Must be eligible to work in the UK. Additional Benefits
